Recently, there is an interesting development on Airbags for SUV.
FYI, the fatality risk for pedestrian is 2.5 X higher in SUV impacts than other regular cars and most regular cars that are in collision with SUV also suffers. As for that, a special airbags for SUV are being put to test. These are 'New Front Edge Airbag' and 'Bumper Airbag'. These are very special and not the normally known type of airbags.
